Policies, Procedures, & Information

Return/Refund Policy--We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

      The product arrived damaged, i.e. broken jars, smashed bath fizzies, soap bar in a million pieces. 

      Product is spoiled, smells bad (as in rotten), leaked out all over the box, is melted or ruined in some way that makes it unusable. (This is unlikely to happen.)

We do not offer refunds for a product that you decide you do not like once your receive it, as in fragrance doesn't suit you, or color, etc.  Please make sure of your choices before purchasing.  We will gladly answer any questions you have beforehand about any product.  It is of course difficult to fully know what you are getting from a photo and description online--we understand that and are glad to help.

 

We are happy to exchange product that is returned in original, new, unopened, sellable condition for more product of equal value.  Return shipping would not be reimbursed, however, replacement product would be shipped to you at our expense, likely with an extra little something in your package as our apology to you.  You are welcome to reuse the same packaging, taped up as necessary to return items.  These exchanges are best handled over the telephone or email if your prefer, as the shopping cart is not set up to handle trade outs.

We highly recommend samples.  These allow you to smell, touch, feel, try out a product before paying full price for it.  Free samples are sent out with orders, and in many cases can be ordered separately, particularly with soaps. If you would like to try a particular product, feel free to ask for that free sample with your order.  If we can accommodate you, we will gladly do so.

Shipping Procedures--In most cases, orders should be shipped within 48 hours of full payment. There are exceptions, of course--custom orders, pre-orders of soap that is curing, emergency situations, etc. Until further notice, we use First Class USPS services for our shipping. Orders over $25 are likely to be insured--still working on that detail...  

FDA Requirements

Local Purchasers--Please contact us with your order.  You are welcome to utilize the website as a shopping tool, but we ask that you place your order directly via phone, or email.  This is for your convenience.  Otherwise, shipping and other fees would apply through website. If you prefer your order to be shipped, that is, of course, up to you.

Packaging/Labeling--We use bubble envelopes whenever possible, because it keeps costs down, however, if your order includes anything glass larger than an 2 oz bottle,or is a large order, it will likely be shipped in a box.  We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, and our goal is for you to enjoy receiving your package as much as you enjoy the products themselves.

About Us

On our little homestead in central New Mexico, we are passionate about all things green and growing--even some of the weeds--enjoying the veggies of our labor, and the fruit of our neighbors, canning, fermenting, foraging, and every other possible way to be as self sufficient as we can become.  Which includes creating necessary and often fun skin care products,  because we want to know what goes in and on our bodies, and also because we can custom create whatever is needed.  For our needs--and yours!
